How Your Membership Works For You

Your ECKO House Membership is designed to easily guide you through each step of publishing. Imagine what it will be like to feel confident and in control of publishing your book the way you decide it should be. Along with an easy to follow online publishing process, you will have your very own publishing coordinator assigned to you from the get go. Your publishing coordinator is available by phone and email during business hours and is specially trained to help you in all aspects of publishing, printing, marketing and distribution. Your membership provides you with the most economical means to publish your book while creating an enjoyable publishing experience.

How to begin and How your Membership Works for You:

Choose between the Premiere and Platinum Membership Package. You may also Build Your Own Package but the information on this page will only be relevant for the items in your package. Once you purchase your membership, you will be ready to begin. If you choose the Premiere Membership, you may upgrade to the Platinum Membership at any time.
Once you are a member, login to your private and easy to use member's area. In your member's area, you will be able to register your book for ISBN assignment and Barcode which is included in your membership. You will also be able to begin your easy step by step Copyright process, also included in your membership. Remember, although our system is user friendly, your publishing coordinator is available Monday to Friday to help you in case you need assistance or have questions.
To assist you in the publishing process, we suggest that you make an appointment at this time for your free 30 minute publishing consultation. This is a great opportunity to get all your questions answered and to get to know your personally assigned publishing coordinator.
If your book is not yet printed, your book is eligible for an LCCN, and you will be able to answer a few simple questions to begin that process as well. Your LCCN is included in your membership.
If you haven't ordered your interior layout at the time of your membership purchase, you may place that order at any time. Of course, if your book is not in need of this service, there is no obligation to purchase it. If you haven't ordered your cover design at the time of your membership purchase, you may place that order at any time. Of course, if your book is not in need of this service, there is no obligation to purchase it. Even before your book's layout and cover are complete, you may pre-activate your ECKO Books Webpage. It's simple to do and only requires that you answer some questions and enter some information about your book. You will be able to add photos, content, videos and your Radio Interview if have purchased one. Your ECKO Books Webpage is your books store front to the world. Your ECKO Books Webpage allows people to purchase your book and also contact you directly for book signings, interviews and other types of publicity. You will receive up to 70% in royalties on all sales through ECKO Books.
Once your books layout and cover are complete, it is time to upload your book to Google Book Search. Listing your book on Google Book Search gets your book on the world's largest search engine and when someone clicks on your Google Listing, it takes them directly to your ECKO Books Listing for easy purchase.
Once your book is published, it is time to activate your Amazon Listing. We do it all for you and only require you to answer a few simple questions.
Now that your book is ready to hit the world, it is time to download your marketing materials. Simply login to your members area and download your personalized publicity letter and announcements and don't forget to check out the marketing tips; all of which is included with either membership.
With your Premiere Membership, you will also receive a 30 minute publicity and marketing consultation and up to 60 minutes with your Platinum Membership. At this time, your Publishing Coordinator will speak with you about the many ways of marketing your book and getting publicity and he or she will also go over our National and Regional Marketing Packages and help you decide which is right for your book. If you are a Premiere Member, this concludes the list of services that your membership includes. If you are Platinum Member, please continue below; as your membership includes all of the above plus the following.

For Platinum Members Only

Congratulations, your book is ready to market and distribute. If you purchased a radio interview, it is time to schedule your 20 radio interview. Your interview will air live on ECKO Author's Radio and will be available Worldwide. It will also be archived on ECKO Books and you will be able to use it for marketing and publicity purposes. No interview experience is necessary. Our radio host will make you look and sound good; and will promote your book to the world.
Once your book is ready to be announced to the world and distributed, we upload it to our distribution center where it becomes available to Ingram, Baker and Taylor and Barnes & Noble. You may also upgrade to the Ingram Advantage for an additional $110.00 and have your book listed in the Ingram Advantage Catalog for one month; click here to find out more. This opportunity is only available to books when they are first listed with Ingram. We highly recommend that you upgrade to this option as it will give your book an incredible amount of exposure to retailers and book sellers. For the amount of exposure it will give to your book, it is an amazing deal.

Two Ways To Print Your Book

We offer two types of printing. The first type is our Quantity Printing. Quantity Printing allows you to purchase a minimum of 25 books (up to thousands) and have them shipped directly to you or to a single location of your choice. This option is for you if you want to sell your books directly from your home, business, seminars or local stores. Your books will be shipped to you ready to sell and you keep all the profits. We suggest that all authors have their own supply of books to sell. As a Premiere or Platinum Member, you receive 10% off all our Printing Prices and Platinum Members are eligible for even discounts on some books. It is important to note, that a requirement of having your book listed on ECKO Books or Amazon is that you purchase a minimum of 25 books and we store at least 10 books at our warehouse so that we may ship them out to fulfill your orders. You will then receive a royalty fee on any books sold. As a Platinum Member, you do not need to purchase the 25 books to be listed on Amazon. Your Platinum Membership includes print on demand distribution to Amazon.

The second way in which your books can be printed is through our Print on Demand Services which is included with your Platinum Membership Only. When a retailer orders a book through one of our many distributors, your book(s) is printed and shipped immediately. You don't pay for printing and will receive a royalty fee for any books sold. To determine the amount of royalty you will receive based on the price of your book, click here. We strongly suggest that in addition to Print on Demand, you also purchase Quantity Printing and have books sent directly to you as described above. This will be particularly necessary if you are planning to do book signings, marketing or any other type of publicity.
